Internship – Association Management and Events

Job Description:
KCA is an association management and event planning firm located in Chandler, Arizona. We manage more than 20 clients throughout the United States, supporting industries including (but not limited to): Healthcare, aviation, engineering and manufacturing, transportation and education. As KCA continues to expand, we’re seeking a full-time intern for August – November 2023.

Qualifications:
*Previous office administrative experience is desired
*Interest in project and event management
*Demonstrate understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
*Data Entry experience is a plus, but not required

Duties:
85% In office client support
15% Onsite support (Client events; majority in-state travel with minimal out of state travel)

In Office Client Support
*Data entry
*Event registration assistance
*Member registration assistance
*Conference Prep, such as preparing onsite materials and attendee communications
*Providing administrative support assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails and preparing communications on client lead’s behalf

Onsite Support
*Attending client events to assist with setup, registration/check-in, onsite logistics and general inquiries
