| Kristen Kerns ~ Association and Conference Coordinator | |

Kristen Kerns
brings event management, customer/client relations, marketing, writing
and editing and presentation skills to KCA. Her primary
responsibilities include association management, event planning, public
relations and writing the quarterly KCA e-Newsletter. She handles every
aspect of an event/conference from site selection, to contract
negotiation, food and beverage, entertainment, room blocks, speaker
coordination, and sponsor and exhibitor coordination. She builds
relationships with outside vendors that assist us in meeting the
client’s needs. She also, writes press releases and coordinates radio
promotions and TV appearances.
Before joining KCA she coordinated branch grand openings at Desert Schools Federal Credit Union. She also planned educational seminars and marketing events at Hospice of the Valley. During the summer of 2004 Kristen lived in London, England and worked at a non-fiction book publishing company. A native Phoenician, Kristen has a degree in Mass Communication and Creative Writing from Arizona State University. Kristen’s can do attitude and willingness to learn and grow makes her a valuable asset to KCA and her clients. She never hesitates to step up and go the extra mile. |
